Artist: Stephan Le Roux

About the artist:   Stephan was born in 1973 and grew up in the Free State in a mining community in Welkom. He always had the urge to be creative and from a young age always paint and took part in the annual art competition for primary schools at the town exhibition. Growing up the road to adulthood took him on various paths all over the world. In 2015 he started pursuing his God given talent in creating his own oil and acrylic paintings. Stephan is fascinated with the beauty of nature and from there the interest in landscapes. He also is a firm believer in helping people less fortunate and support organizations like Hospice. Stephan is a self-taught artist and has no official training. He is now residing in a small town called Gordon's Bay in the Western Cape.
